Hello my dear friends!
Today I want to introduce Lady Nightmare to you. She is a model, a photographer and she is also a jewelry maker. I worked with her on two photo sessions and I like that she is very positive and she was such a good trooper when we took the pictures in low temperature. Working with her was really fun and easy. Enjoy the interview and the pictures.
How and why did you start to be interested in tattoos?
When I got my first tattoo I got the bug. I don’t remember when I started to get “interested” in tattoos… XD
When did you get your first tattoo? What made you do it?
I got my first tattoo at 15. I wanted to get tattooed, I started to have some ideas but of course I had to convince my parents first!! So I had to do something small and neutral. So I got my dragonfly. I love dragonflies and I fell in love with the birthmark of the character in the movie Dragonfly so I draw it on a piece of paper and asked my parents to get it for my birthday. Of course my mom said “smaller!!” and my dad went with me to the tattoo shop and asked the artist to do it smaller.. So he draw another one.. And my tattoo really didn’t look like my drawing… But I was happy… For a while… Then I got it covered by a better dragonfly. XD
How many tattoos do you have right now? What future tattoos do you want to do?
5. I’m thinking about a Zelda arm and a Tim Burton arm. Also a Alice in Wonderland. But I think my next project will be my purple octopus. <3
Do any of your tattoos help you in any way? Do they give you inner power? Or do they remind you of something?
Yes. My tattoos gave my self esteem a boost. I find myself more beautiful. My thigh is my best example. I was shy to show my thighs. When I got my zombie pin up on my left thigh I started to wear some short shorts (yes short shorts, cause the shorts I used to wear were arriving at my knees) and was proud to show my tattooed thigh.
What is the most important tattoo for you?
They’re all important for me. They all mean something to me and I can’t think of living without them now.
How do people react when they see your tattoos? Do you have a funny story about this that you want to share?
I didn’t really got a bad reaction.. Some people ask me what they means.. Some are surprised when they see the one in my neck haha. When Zelda fans see my Triforce on my wrist I often get a “bro fist” or a high five!
Do you want to change any of your tattoos?
Hmm… I love my “Dream” tattoo in my neck but I discovered a full sentence I would have like to get tattooed and now I don’t have enough place in my neck. XD
Who is your favorite tattoo artist?
What would you say to somebody that is not really sure about having a tattoo but wants one?
Really think about it, be sure to get tattooed something you won’t regret, don’t do it on a “coup de tête” and choose your tattoo artist well. Think about where you want it too. If you want people to see it or not, if you want something else after and it won’t fit, if you can get the job you want, etc… You are going to have this tattoo for the rest of your life. And yes, it could hurt. I suggest you do your first tattoo on a part of your body where you’re not too sensible.
