Hello my dear friends!
It’s been a while since I posted the last article and today I want to introduce Valerie to you.
She is a MUA and a big Harry Potter fan just like me. It was so nice to work with her and we did some great pictures.
Without further ado I invite you to read the interview and watch the pictures.
Could you please tell us something funny about you?
I love horror movies. I have seen about 200, now! It’s very rare that those scare me, but I am terrified of E.T… you know that “cute” alien movie? It’s just a weird phobia since childhood hahaha!
How and why did you start to be interested in tattoos?
At about 13 years old, when I started to listen to hard rock music, and I noticed that the band members had tattoos all over. I just thought they looked so beautiful, and added so much personality!
When did you get your first tattoo? What made you do it?
I had just turned 16. I actually was inspired by the style of tattoos of the lead singer of a band I liked. So I searched for a Montreal artist with that style and went to meet him. I got a rose and I still love it to this day!
How many tattoos do you have right now? What future tattoos do you want to do?
Considering my full arm to be only one tattoo, I would have 8. I’d love to have more tattoos on my legs. I want a portrait of a Tim Burton short movie character, and a second Harry Potter reference.
Do any of your tattoos help you in any way? Do they give you inner power? Or do they remind you of something?
Each of my tattoos mean something to me. They show my personality directly on the surface of my body, and that’s what I love. I also plan to get tattoos in memory of my loved ones who will pass away. They also do give me strength, I feel like I’m making a statement, and that I am unique. I love what I see in the mirror!
What is the most important tattoo for you?
I guess my wolf tattoo would be the most important, because I had waited so long to get it. Wolves are really my spirit animal, I feel like that tattoo really represents me.
How do people react when they see your tattoos? Do you have a funny story about this that you want to share?
It depends! Some people will say they look nice, and will be curious about them. Others will just stare at me like I’m a weirdo hahaha! Also, women with ink are judged way more severely than men… Some people say they don’t look feminine. One lady in the metro one day was looking at my tattoo sleeve, and I thought she didn’t like it. She’s from another generation so I would have understood. But she came over to tell me they looked very beautiful. She was so cute!
Do you want to change any of your tattoos?
I would like to get some elements added to tattoos I already have, like the one on my ribs. And there is that one little tattoo that I’d like to get covered up. Not because I made a mistake, but because I don’t think it has the style or quality to match the other ones.
Who is your favorite tattoo artist?
Nick King, from Imperial Tattoo Connexion. He’s the one that did my first tattoo as well as my whole sleeve, my thigh, and a piece on my ankle. He’s the best at what he does, and I trust him every time he puts ink on my body. He’s also very funny and fun to be around!
What would you say to somebody that is not really sure about having a tattoo but wants one?
I’d say if you’re 18 or older, go for it! Just make sure you look at all your options and you choose a style and an artist that suits you! Don’t be afraid to pay the price to have a good looking tattoo. They are for life, and they should be works of art, nothing less.
Hello my dear friends! This week I want to introduce Vxmpire to you. She is a model, a Suicide Girl...
